Water
Sauna and banya with a pool in Yerevan
The pool is 10 × 5 metres, 1.6 m deep everywhere, and the water sits at 22–24 °C. It stands under a glass roof, so it works in January the same way it works in July. We do not sell swimming on its own: the pool comes with a banya programme or with a private booking of the house.
The numbers
What kind of pool this is — before you book
The depth is even: 1.6 m across the whole basin, with no shallow end and no steps down. It is a real pool rather than an oversized plunge tub — you can swim in it, not only sit.
The roof is glass, which means daylight on the water and the same pool in winter and in rain. It also means the opposite: it is never open air. If you were looking for water under the open sky, what stands outside here is the furako and the snow machine, not the pool.
The water is 22–24 °C. That is deliberately cooler than a heated hotel pool at 28–30 °C: people come out of a 60 °C steam room, and the job of this water is to take the heat away rather than hold it.

Heat and cold
People come for the swing, not for laps
The steam room runs at 60 °C with 60 % humidity. Everything around it is a different way out of that heat, from the gentlest to the sharpest. The pool is the first step down, which is exactly why it is cooler than a pool you would find in a hotel.
- Pool — 22–24 °C
- Cold waterfall
- Snow machine — all year
- Ice barrel — 4–5 °C
- Furako — 38–39 °C
Prices
Three ways into the pool
None of the cold steps is compulsory. The ice barrel and the furako are paid separately — 19,000 ֏ and 35,000 ֏. The pool, the waterfall and the snow carry no surcharge.

Questions about the pool
Can I come only for the pool?
No. The pool is part of a banya programme or a private booking of a bath. The cheapest way in is a group evening at 25,000 ֏ per person.
Is the pool heated?
It is kept at 22–24 °C, which is cooler than a hotel pool. That is the point: you come to it out of a 60 °C steam room.
Is it indoors or outdoors?
Indoors, under a glass roof, and it works all year. Outdoors we have the furako and the snow machine.
How clean is the water?
Three-stage filtration running continuously. The ice barrel is different — its water is changed after every programme.
Do we need swimsuits?
Yes. Everyone is in a swimsuit here — in the pool and in the steam room alike. That is a house rule.
Can children swim?
Children come from six months on soft programmes, but the depth is 1.6 m across the whole basin and there is no children's area, so an adult stays in the water with them.
Where are you?
7/1 Kocharyan Street, Nor Nork — not the city centre, about 10–15 minutes by taxi. Parking is free, and there are no steps from the car to the door.
