Day spa, no hotel attached

Spa in Yerevan for the whole evening

A spa in Yerevan built out of heat, cold and water rather than treatment rooms: a Russian steam room at 60 °C, a 10 × 5 m pool under a glass roof at 22–24 °C, an ice plunge at 4–5 °C and real snow outside. A visit runs three hours. We are open 11:00 to 23:00, we have no rooms, and there is no alcohol.

What it actually is

Гостья лежит на воде в бассейне

A day spa: three hours, eight rooms, one route

A spa day here is not an hour on a table. You arrive, change, and then move between rooms for three hours — heat, cold, water, rest, and heat again. A parmaster sets the rhythm if you want one, or you keep your own.

The order most guests settle into: the Russian steam room at 60 °C with humidity around 60 %, then cold — the ice plunge at 4–5 °C, the pour-over waterfall or the snow — then the furako at 38–39 °C, then the pool, then tea and sitting still. As many rounds as you feel like.

The pool is where the third hour usually goes. Ten metres by five, an even 1.6 metres deep across the whole basin, kept at 22–24 °C under a glass roof, with three-stage filtration.

Honest limits

We are not a spa hotel and not a spa salon

Search for a spa in Yerevan and the first results are hotels — Booking listings, the Radisson, the Grand Hotel. If what you want is a spa attached to a room you sleep in, book one of those. Sky Mansion is open 11:00 to 23:00 and has no accommodation of any kind: everyone goes home at the end of the evening.

We are not a beauty salon either. No cosmetology, no body wraps, no manicure, no apparatus treatments, no infrared cabin, no cryo chamber, no head spa, no gym and no yoga classes. No hammam or Turkish bath, and no Thai, lymphatic drainage, stone or ayurvedic massage. We also do not travel to you — there is no home visit, for massage or for parenie.

Alcohol is not sold here, cannot be brought in, and you cannot arrive having had a drink. Heat and alcohol together put a real load on the heart, and the lightness people come for is built by steam, cold water, tea and quiet instead.

What is left is a Russian banya complex with a pool. If you are comparing spas in Yerevan, that is the honest line to compare on: eight rooms, three hours, a parmaster, and no treatment menu.

No overnight stays

Open daily 11:00–23:00. No rooms, no night rates, no round-the-clock access.

No hammam

The heat here is a Russian steam room and a yurt banya. No Turkish bath, no marble slab.

No salon treatments

No cosmetology, wraps, manicure or apparatus procedures — and nothing Thai, lymphatic or ayurvedic.

The pool is indoors

Under a glass roof at 22–24 °C. If you are looking for an open-air pool, or one heated to 28–30 °C with lap lanes, this is not it.

No alcohol

Not sold, not allowed in, no exception for birthdays or company evenings.

Massage we do have

On a table, booked in advance: classic 30, 60, 90 or 120 minutes, anti-cellulite, cupping and facial massage.

Couples spa and private bookings

A couples spa here means the house is yours for the session — steam room, ice plunge, furako, snow and pool — with nobody added to your booking. The Russian banya for two is 150,000 ֏ per couple. The yurt banya, with its own entrance and softer steam, is 90,000 ֏ per couple.

A private booking works the same way for a group: you take one bath or both, and no strangers join. Massage and the singing bowls are added on request when you reserve, because a parmaster has to be held for those hours.

If you are coming alone, the group evenings are the simplest way in — fixed hours, one parmaster, 25,000 ֏ per person. Men on Wednesday and Friday, 20:00–23:00. Women on Sunday, 13:00–16:00, and Venus Evening for women on Thursday, 20:00–23:00.

What a spa evening costs

Group evenings, bookings for two and individual programmes include the parmaster's work, oak and fir brooms, herbs, a robe, towel, felt hat and slippers, shower cosmetics, herbal tea, soft drinks and light food. There is nothing to pay for at the door.

Booking takes a 50 % prepayment. Cancellation is free up to 24 hours before; a date can be moved up to two days ahead; a late cancellation is not refunded. Two reductions apply if you ask for them — 15 % on your birthday and three days either side, 10 % on Mondays and Tuesdays. They do not stack.

Getting here, hours and what to bring

7/1 Kocharyan Street, Nor Nork, Yerevan. This is not the centre — 10 to 15 minutes by taxi from it. Drivers know the place as Sky Mansion. Parking is free, ten cars, and there are no steps between the car and the door.

Open daily, 11:00 to 23:00. Everything is booked in advance, massage and the singing bowls included. If you arrive late, the session ends at the time it was booked to end, so it is shorter rather than pushed back.

Bring a swimsuit: everyone here is in swimwear, in every room, and that is a rule rather than a preference. A fresh robe, towel, felt hat and slippers are issued to each guest — the linen is laundered constantly, and the slippers are disposable, though your own are more comfortable. Changing rooms are separate by gender, showers are shared with individual cabins as well, and the lockers have locks.

Photographs are fine anywhere in the house, and tags in your posts are welcome.

Asked most often

Questions about the spa

Is Sky Mansion a spa hotel?

No. There are no rooms and no overnight stays. The house is open 11:00 to 23:00, a visit runs three hours, and everyone goes home afterwards. If you need a spa in the hotel you are sleeping in, the hotels listed next to us in search are the right answer, not us.

Is this a spa salon with cosmetology?

No. There is no cosmetology, no body wraps, no manicure and no apparatus procedures. What we have is a Russian steam room, a yurt banya, a pool, cold water, massage on a table and a hall of singing bowls.

Do you have a hammam or a Turkish bath?

No. The heat is a Russian steam room at 60 °C with humidity around 60 %, and a yurt banya with a rounded vault and softer, denser steam.

Is there a spa with a pool?

Yes. The pool is 10 × 5 metres, an even 1.6 metres deep, kept at 22–24 °C with three-stage filtration, under a glass roof. It is indoors — there is no open-air pool here, and it is not heated to 28–30 °C.

Can we book a private spa for two?

Yes. The Russian banya for two is 150,000 ֏ per couple and the yurt banya 90,000 ֏ per couple. In both cases nobody else shares the house with you for the session.

Do you sell spa gift cards?

Yes. A certificate is written for any amount from 25,000 to 190,000 ֏, valid six months, and can be used on any format. The most frequent one is the banya for two at 150,000 ֏.

Is there alcohol?

No. It is not sold here, cannot be brought in, and you cannot arrive having had a drink — birthdays and company evenings included. The reason is partly medical, since heat and alcohol together load the heart, and partly that the state people come for does not survive it.
